DESIGNER

I’ve always loved nature. As a little kid, my favorite activity was creating sandcastle aquariums for hermit crabs at the beach. I’m thrilled to now be designing habitats professionally. Pulling from a project management background in luxury wedding planning and the military, I enjoy turning negatives into positives so that you and nature can get the most benefit out of your space.

When I’m not designing, you can find me hiking with my husband Michael (check out his amazing photography here!), snuggling with my cat Lily while watching Dimension 20, or volunteering at local children’s gardens. Let’s make the world a better (and more beautiful) place together!

SUPURRVISOR

Lily is the permanent holder of the “employee of the month” award. While she prioritizes kibble and napping in sunbeams over design contributions, Lily does enjoy gracing us with her presence on Zoom calls.

Studio Values

DESIGN OUTLOOK

To maximize the utility of outdoor spaces through mindful design in such a way that the earth, native flora and fauna, and people may all thrive.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I acknowledge that I live and work on the traditional territories of the Coast Salish people, who have been caregivers of this land since time immemorial. With gratitude and recognition of their stewardship and protection of the earth, I strive to honor these lands and waterways.

CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS

As a veteran owned and operated business, the studio donates to The Vet Center. The Vet Center offers confidential counseling services and community-building activities throughout the country for military veterans, service members, and their families at no cost. Contributions are donated in loving memory of Rebecca and Serena and in honor of Ashley.
